American Red Cross

Home Care: Skills for the Family Caregiver; a course that teaches lay caregivers proper skills and techniques to help safely care for a family member or friend in the home. Through discussion and practicing skills on a mannequin, participants learn about safety, infection control, personal care, positioning and transferring, physical conditioning and self care for the caregiver.
