Kansas City Home Care is a pioneer in the training, bonding, insuring and pre-screening of senior home care employees. Our experienced care management team will provide the appropriate level of caregiver for your aging loved one, including Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Companion.
Locally owned and operated, Kansas City Home Care is run under the leadership of Tim Tholen, who has become a leader in KC’s senior care industry. Tim was originally inspired to help the elderly population after he and his family struggled to find quality care for an aging grandmother.
In 2010, Tim founded Thoughtful Care, which provides comprehensive care for older adults suffering from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. As the need for in-home senior care continued to rise, Thoughtful Care acquired Kansas City Home Care in 2014 and Kansas Elder Care in 2016, greatly expanding the company’s service area. Together, the three organizations share a headquarters in Prairie Village, KS, providing unmatched caregiving services to seniors across both Kansas and Missouri.
